The SPACQ (Société professionnelle des auteurs et des compositeurs du Québec) Foundation hosted its 14^th Gala last Tuesday to highlight and sponsor local songwriters and composers. $160 000 was distributed amongst the 18 hand-picked recipients.

The evenko foundation awarded the ÉVAL-MANIGAT prize to two emerging artists: Marc-Antoine Beaudoin and Matiu.

The mission of the SPACQ Foundation is to support and promote local songwriters, composers and performers that are creating outstanding pieces.
