The evenko foundation to invest $1 million in supporting emerging French-language artists in Quebec
During Montréal, faites du bruit!, held as part of the Francos de Montréal, the evenko foundation announced a $1 million investment over five years to support emerging French-language artists in Quebec.
This initiative is part of a broader movement bringing together organizations committed to supporting local emerging artists and contributing to the growth of Quebec's music industry.
Funded directly through revenues generated by OSHEAGA, îLESONIQ and LASSO Montréal, the initiative will help support the next generation of Quebec artists while continuing the evenko foundation's mission of empowering young people through music.
Program details will be announced this fall following discussions with industry stakeholders. The first call for projects is expected to launch in October.
